penguin book design.

the brief was from the penguin random house, and it was to create a new book cover the Harper Lee's To Kill A  Mockingbird.

I chose to focus the design on inequality and the treatment of classes in the time period of the book and the location it was set it.

I used shoes to represent the different classes and the main characters. the shoes were placed in a grid and the more the type of shoe features, the importance  of the class is defined.

I also left empty spaces in the grid, these represent the people forgotten in society - the disabled, mentality ill and the people wrongfully imprisoned.
